About
PinMap is a world map where attention is bought in public. It sits in the pay-to-rank leaderboard genre that outbid.lol popularised as a list. PinMap is the version where your money has a location — and where it cools down if you walk away.
Don't just rank. Own somewhere.
You submit a link, pick a region, and pay whatever you think the spot is worth, starting at two dollars. Your payment becomes a pin, and its size on the map is what you paid. Pay more than the pin above you and you take its place. Anyone can pass you later by paying more, and you can relight your own pin by paying the difference. The full mechanics are in the rules.
Two things we do differently
Seven regions, seven #1s. A single global list has exactly one premium spot, which caps what the whole board can ever be worth and leaves everyone else buying a consolation prize. Splitting the world into regions creates seven ladders that each ratchet on their own — and being top of your continent is a claim you can actually make.
Pins fade. On a board where rank never decays, a $2 bid buys a spot forever and the map quietly dies. Here, heat halves every 30 days. Holding a position means coming back. That is a real cost, and we would rather state it plainly on the front page than bury it.
The honest part

Biggest pin owns the region. The map is the proof.
