Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of PinMap.lol, operated by Adam Suresh, an individual (the operator). They are governed by the laws of India. By submitting a pin or making a payment you agree to them. Read them once; they are short on purpose.
What the service is
PinMap sells paid placement on a public world map. You pay to have a URL or X @handle displayed at a position determined by the amount paid toward it, decayed over time as described in the rules. Higher amounts rank higher, and anyone can pass you later by paying more.
This is a novelty and advertising product. It is not an investment, a security, an auction of goods, a lottery, or a store of value. A payment buys a position on a map, nothing else, and that position can be lost at any time to a higher bid or to the passage of time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You may only use the service for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws that apply to you.
Payments and refunds
Payments are one-time and denominated in US dollars. They are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record for every transaction. Your receipt and card statement will come from Dodo Payments.
All sales are final. There are no refunds. Being out-pinned, pushed down the map, or seeing your pin fade over time grants no refund, credit or compensation of any kind; those are how the product works and are described plainly in the rules before you pay. Any exceptional refund required by law or by card network rules is handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, not by the operator.
Pin content
Pins must follow the rules. The operator may reject or remove any pin that is unlawful, infringing, adult, deceptive, spam, a chat or invite link, or that otherwise creates legal or reputational risk, at any time and without refund. Moderation decisions are made at the operator's sole discretion and are final.
No guarantees
The service is provided as is. The operator does not guarantee uptime, availability, clicks, traffic, visibility, or any commercial result from a pin. The operator does not guarantee how long a pin will hold any rank; by design, any rank can be taken by a higher bid at any moment, and all heat decays over time.
Intellectual property
You may only pin a URL, brand or handle that you own or have the right to promote. Pinning someone else's property does not transfer any rights to you, and the operator may remove such pins without refund on receiving a credible complaint.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the service. The operator's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the pin giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
The operator may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
